My Story
HI!!!! I would like to tell you a little about myself, family and my amazing journey with Scentsy. I have been married for eleven years, and am a stay at home mom to four amazing little boys. Ages five, six, eight and ten. Our life is busy, our life is crazy and our life is wonderful! In February 2009 I hosted a Scentsy party for a close friend of mine and got my first introduction to Scentsy. It was love at first SMELL! And I was even more excited about the safety aspect. At the time I had a full time, off-site position that allowed me to stay home with my children but was not flexible, due to very strict deadlines. I was also expecting my youngest child. Just after being released from the hospital, we discovered that our little guy had suffered a brain hemorrhage at birth and he was rushed to Rady’s Children’s Hospital. We were informed that he would need ongoing medical assessments and therapies. My husband and I decided that it would be in the best interest of our new baby for me to resign from my current position in order to focus on his treatment and therapy. Scentsy seemed like a great way to replace that the income that we would be losing and offer a much more flexible schedule. After researching the company and realizing the huge business opportunity, in June of that year, I became a Consultant. I had tried out many other direct selling companies and I never really found one that fit UNTIL NOW!!! Scentsy fits my hectic schedule and it really sells itself! I think Scentsy could be a great fit for you as well. Life is busy, the economy is uncertain but I have found my Scentsy business to be a true blessing as well as a great “Plan B” for these uncertain times. Scentsy is growing NOW is the time to jump on board and live the life you have dreamed!!! Here I am almost five years later with wonderful, amazing and talented consultants on my team. My team is incredibly important to me and I take training and sponsoring SERIOUSLY. Without them, I would not have experienced the level of success that I have. And, It is my hope that every consultant that I sponsor will also experience a tremendous level of success as well! You may be thinking “but I could never do that!” The truth is…………..there is nothing spectacular about me. I don’t have much sales experience. I don’t feel comfortable “cold calling” or pressure selling”. I simply have a passion for this product. I admire Scentsy’s owners; Heidi and Orville Thompson. I am confident in their leadership and the way it directly effects the growth of the company.
